Neurofeedback is a non-invasive, drug-free therapy that uses cutting-edge technology to improve brain function.

Hi, I’m Liz.

I’m a licensed professional counselor (LPC), board certified in neurofeedback (BCN), and a mom of two.

After watching neurofeedback transform my son’s life, I’ve made it my mission to use this powerful, non-invasive tool to help as many families as I can.

Is life hard for your child?

In spite of their best efforts—and yours—every day feels like a struggle.

Homework is a daily battle. Their emotions are fragile, even volatile. Tantrums, moodiness, and defiance loom over every would-be happy family moment. Their home life, school life, and social life feel chaotic, frustrating, and exhausting, for everyone involved.

You desperately want to help them, but you just don’t know what else to do.

You’ve tried therapy. Medication. Supplements. Different parenting strategies. Different diets. You’ve read the books. You’ve asked your friends. Nothing seems to be making a difference.

You might not have a specific diagnosis (or maybe you have 2 or 3 diagnoses), but what you know is that your child or teen just isn’t doing well.

But it doesn’t have to be this way. Whether it’s mood swings, focus issues, or emotional outbursts, I’m here to share a proven solution that can help them—and your family—find peace.

I’ve guided nearly 100 people through brain training protocols, and I’ve seen over and over that when the brain functions better, everything functions better. I’ve helped difficult children learn to self-regulate, anxious children approach their days with optimism and joy, and helped children who once hated school excel academically.

The beauty of neurofeedback is that whether your child has a diagnosed disorder or is just generally struggling, the approach is the same: I create a personalized protocol that helps balance your child’s brain, making it easier for them to regulate emotions, focus, and thrive. Brain training addresses the root cause underneath all issues, so it works effectively, holistically, and sustainably. And bonus: it’s fun!

So whether you resonate with part or all of that scenario or your child’s struggle looks different, giving their brain the custom support that it needs will help them in all areas—sleep, focus, emotional regulation, and so much more.

I’ve had the privilege of helping many children and their families move into greater stability, wellness, and confidence. If you’re ready to explore how neurofeedback can transform your child’s life, too, I’d love to chat. Let’s schedule a free consult call to see how I can help your family find lasting stability, wellness, and peace.

Brain Training can improve:

Focus

We live in a world of distractions. Neurofeedback improves focus so you can keep your mind on one task at a time with maximum efficiency, and ultimately reach your goals faster.

Productivity

A healthy brain is more productive. Neurofeedback helps you maintain constant energy throughout the day and engage in tasks without drops in performance.

Memory

Neurofeedback helps improve both short and long term memory and causes the brain to become more aware and selective of what it retains. Braintraining can help you recall information more quickly, and remember it for longer.

Sleep

Your brain regulates your sleep. Neurofeedback trains your brain waves to normalize sleep patterns, so that you consistently wake up feeling refreshed and replenished.

Mood

Neurofeedback helps your brain move out of a reactive emotional state and regulate your mood. Ordered brain waves are more likely to create the emotions of confidence, agreeableness, and joy.

Recovery

In today’s fast-paced world, our brains are constantly working and under great strain. As your brain function improves, your brain will be able to handle heavier loads of stress and more easily deal with the high demands of your life.

Brain Waves: what are they and why do they matter?

Brainwaves are the electrical activity produced by the brain's neurons as they communicate with each other. These brainwaves are grouped into different types based on their frequency, or how fast they cycle per second. There are five types of brain waves:

  • Delta waves: the slowest waves, which primarily impact sleep and healing.

  • Theta waves: most experienced in twilight states where you experience intuition, memory, and meditation.

  • Alpha waves: prevalent when you are in a state of calm focus and are also often present when you are in a creative state.

  • Beta waves: used for intense focus and learning.

  • Gamma waves: the fastest waves, which occur during moments of intense focus, complex problem-solving, or heightened awareness.

Brainwaves can become imbalanced when the different types aren't working together in the right way, leading to too much or too little of a certain brainwave. This can happen due to various factors, including stress, lack of sleep, poor diet, or mental health issues.

When any of these brain waves become too dominant or too weak, negative symptoms often result, such as those listed below.

How can neurofeedback help?

Neurofeedback is a guided brain exercise regimen that retrains dysregulated brainwave patterns to move in a more orderly way. When you engage in neurofeedback training, your brain becomes more stable and is able to operate optimally and efficiently!

As you train (read more about that process HERE) the brain is creating new neural connections.  The more those circuits are driven and used, the more neuroplastic changes take hold, and your brain will use those balanced circuits during the demands of everyday life.

Each neurofeedback protocol is designed based on the results of your specific qEEG brain map, so it is completely custom to your specific brain wave patterns.

Who can neurofeedback help?

Almost everyone can benefit from neurofeedback, but two particular groups often see particular benefits. The first is those who are struggling with any of the imbalance symptoms listed above. The second is high performers who need to be at the top of their mental game. Neurofeedback is used by NASA, Fortune 500 Executives, US Special Forces, and olympians to help them perform at their best.
